Perancangan Tanjungpinang Cultural Center Dengan Pendekatan Eco Culture

ABSTRACT
Indonesia is known to have a diverse culture. Tanjungpinang City is one of the cities in the Riau Archipelago province which has quite high potential in the cultural sector. One of these sectors can be found on Penyengat Island which is a historic island with the culture of the city of Tanjungpinang which is only about 2 miles from Sri Bintan Pura Harbor. Sri Bintan Pura is also a port that provides international access from Tanjungpinang to Malaysia and Singapore. However, there are several problems regarding the promotion of culture in Tanjungpinang which tourists still complain about, as well as the problem that lies in the availability of data on Tanjungpinang culture in each area which is not well organized and not exposed which causes a lack of the prestige of Tanjungpinang culture among tourists and the public in general. With these several aspects of the problem, it is necessary to design the Tanjungpinang Cultural Center in Tanjungpinang with an Eco-Culture approach to answer the needs of tourists and the general public regarding cultural information about the city of Tanjungpinang while taking into account cultural values and the surrounding environment, so that it can contain all cultural and tourism information. Tanjungpinang city well and also as a media campaign for the government to support the development of the culture and tourism sector. Kata Kunci : Tourist, Culture, Eco-Culture, Tanjungpinang
