Pengaruh Pupuk Npk Dan Pupuk Organik Cair Urin Sapi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Aren (Arenga Pinnata Merr.)
ABSTRACT
This research aims to study the interaction of NPK fertilizer and cow urine LOF on the growth of sugar palm seedlings and determine the combination of NPK fertilizer treatment with cow urine LOF for each factor to increase the growth of sugar palm seedlings. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, from June to September 2021. This research was carried out experimentally using a 4 x 3 factorial experiment which was arranged according to a completely randomized design (CRD), with NPK fertilizer dose as factor I consisting of (0 g per polybag, 3 g polybag, 6 g per polybag, 9 g per polybag), bovine urine LOF concentration as factor II consisting of (0 ml.l-1 water, 150 ml.l-1 water, 300 ml.l-1 water) with 3 replications. The data from the analysis were further tested using Duncan's multiple range test at 5% level using SAS System Version 9.12. Parameters for observation consisted of seedling height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, root volume, seedling dry weight and root crown ratio. The results showed that the growth of sugar palm seedlings was better at the interaction of NPK fertilizer doses of 6 and 9 g per polybag with a LOF concentration of cow urine 300 ml.l-1 water, as well as the administration of NPK fertilizer at a dose of 9 g per polybag and LOF of cow urine with a concentration of 300 ml.l-1 water.
