ABSTRACK
Large-scale civil engineering work requires the use of heavy equipment. Heavy
equipment according to their respective functions include diggers, loaders,
transporters, spreaders and compactors. Tools must be used efficiently so that
users need to know the capabilities of the tool, the types of tools, the limitations of
the tool, and the operational costs of the tool. The productivity of heavy
equipment depends on the type or type of equipment, work methods, working
field conditions, and the time needed to complete a job. This study aims to
determine the type of equipment needed, as well as the production capacity of
heavy equipment in the Widening Project to Add Additional Lanes to Siak IV
Access Road Pekanbaru City. In Class B Aggregate Work, Dump Truck heavy
equipment productivity is 60.108 m³/hour with an average cycle time of 7.76
hours/day. Motor Grader productivity per hour is 7.78 m³/hour and productivity
per day with a working duration of 7 hours/day. Productivity of Vibratory Roller
per hour is 213.63 m³/hour with 5 days of work. Productivity of Pheneumatic
Tired Rollers per hour is 289.98 m³/hour with 3 days of work, class B aggregate
quantity is 6,161.42 m³. In class A Aggregate work Dump Truck heavy equipment
productivity is 60.108 m³/hour with an average cycle time of 7.76 hours/day. The
productivity of the Motor Grader per hour is 5,832 m³/hour with a working time
of 12 days. Productivity of the Vibratory Roller per hour is 175.42 m³/hour with a
working time of 4 days. The productivity of Pheneumatic Tired Roller per hour is
217.48 m³/hour with a working time of 3 days, the quantity of class A aggregate is
3,749.25 m³ The effective time to do this work is Class B Aggregate Layer 32
working days, Class A Aggregate Layer 28 days work so that the total effective
time duration is 60 working days. In Class B Aggregate Work, the work planning
is 9 weeks and can be accelerated to 3 weeks, while in Class A Aggregate work,
the work planning is 7 weeks and can be accelerated to 2 weeks. Then there is an
acceleration of implementation from Week 6 to 18 compared to the planner's time
schedule.
