ABSTRACT Transfer devices for paralyzed and elderly patients are tools that we often encounter in the world of health, such as: wheelchairs, stretchers, gurneys, and others. The process of lifting and moving patients and the elderly carries risks for staff. Because there are some difficulties in moving patients from one place to another. If this work is carried out with the position of the distance between the load and the officer being inaccurate and lifting the patient has a body weight that exceeds the ability of the officer, the manufacture of this patient transfer device aims to reduce the risk of injury to parts of the body and make it easier to move the patient properly and correctly. Tool making methods are: welding process, cutting process, and drilling process. The actual size for each component on the patient transfer device will be compared with the design size to determine whether the actual size is within the design size tolerances. With the workings of this tool, the propulsion system is in the mobilization fabric rope and is in the form of a fix.
