Analisis Kerusakan Mesin Screw Press Menggunakan Metode Fault Tree Analysis (Fta) Dan Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (Fmea) (Studi Kasus Ptpn V Sei. Galuh)
ABSTRACT
The screw press machine is a tool commonly used to crush fruit and then separate the crude oil from the flesh of the palm fruit. The worm screw in the screw press is one of the main components in the machine for extracting CPO (Crude Palm Oil) / crude palm oil from fresh fruit bunches. The screw press machine can experience damage in its operation and interfere with machine performance. The purpose of this research is to find out the type of damage, causes, efforts and proposed actions that can be taken to improve the performance of the screw press machine itself. The method used in this research is the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method which is used to find the cause of the damage down to the basic event and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) which is used to find priority problems through the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The RPN value is used to determine the priority risk value of each component. RPN can be calculated by combining the severity, occurrence and detection values. From the RPN value obtained, it will be known which components are experiencing a critical position and become a priority for corrective action or component replacement.
