Analisis Cacat Burr Pada Pemotongan Pelat Pembuatan Produk Scrap Kue Menggunakan Mesin Kombinasi Pelubang Dan Penekuk Pelat
ABSTRACT
The combination punching machine and plate bending machine is one of the machines used to reduce the volume and dimensions of workpieces (in the form of plates), both in the punching and blanking processes. In the design of this combination punching machine and plate bending machine using hydraulic assistance as a source of power either manually or using an electric motor that is used to press the workpiece so that the machine can carry out the cutting process on the workpiece. One of the products that can be made using this punch machine is a cake Scrap spoon used in cake-making kitchen equipment. Whereas for the material used in punch & dies, namely S 45 C steel (AISI 1045), and the material for making Scrap cake spoons is stainless steel with variations in thickness, namely 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm. From the production results it is known that the cutting quality of the machine can be seen from the resulting Burrs. To determine the quality of the resulting Burrs, you can use a measurement tool, namely the projector profile. For the cutting quality of stainless steel 0.1 mm is in the bad category and for the highest Burr height is 0.23 mm, where the magnitude of the cutting force obtained is 12905.032038 N. For the quality of cutting stainless steel 0.2 mm is included in the category good, where the highest Burr height is 0.13 mm, where the magnitude of the cutting force obtained is 16591.71 N. For the cutting quality of stainless steel 0.3 mm is in the good category, where the highest Burr height is 0.1 mm, where the magnitude of the cutting force obtained is 19910.052 N.
