Analisis Dimensi Dan Cacat Burr Dari Hasil Proses Blanking Pada Pembuatan Spatula Menggunakan Mesin Kombinasi Pelubang Dan Penekuk
ABSTRACT
The combination punching machine and bending plate is a machine that belongs to the press type with the use of punch and die to make holes or called blanking and bending of sheet metal material. Utilization of a combination punching machine and bending plate can produce mass products with the same size and short processing time. One of the products that will be produced is like a cake decorating spatula or called a frosting spatula. The cutting process in this research uses different sheet metal materials and determines the quality of the cutting which is done by analyzing the side of the cut using a projector profile tool equipped with an magnifying lens. The product design is produced on a stainless stell plate, the largest length is 65mm and the smallest is 64,51mm then the largest width is 20.36mm and the smallest is 19,83mm and the angel formed is 150°. The product design is produced on a aluminium plate, the largest length is 64,95mm and the smallest is 64,36mm then the largest width is 20.42mm and the smallest is 19,87mm and the angel formed is 150°. The type of stainless stell plate
material obtained the highest average burr height of 0,08 mm. The type of aluminium plate material obtained the highest average burr height of 0,056 mm Blanking cutting using a press tool with a clearance value of 0.018 mm or 6% of the sheet metal being cut has a burr height that tends to be in the good (safe) category or an acceptable burr height.
