Masalah Lokasi Fasilitas Dengan Memperhitungkan Masalah Distribusi Komoditas

Strategic location of facilities and effective and efficient distribution of commodities
are aspects of successful management in a company. This thesis discusses
the selection of locations for several facilities by considering the route
of commodity distribution to consumers served by a certain facility. This problem
is solved using the Weiszfeld’s iteration method to get the local optimal
location, and the artificial bee colony algorithm approach to determine the best
route based on the traveling salesman problem. The results obtained indicate
that the selection of the initial locations of the facilities have an influence on
determining the best solution. Constructive heuristic approaches and artificial
bee colony algorithms can produce good solutions in solving the facility location
problems and determining commodity distribution routes.
