ABSTRACT
Parking facilities in a shopping center at Transmart Pekanbaru will affect safety and comfort and also parking at the shopping center is available, but the available parking space is limited and has exceeded the maximum content limit (overload) so that many visitors park their vehicles outside the parking lot should be or on the side of the road. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that in two-wheeled vehicles the number of parking plots available is 610 SRP, the percentage of the parking index on April 8, 2023 exceeds the capacity of having to redesign the parking plot, while for the characteristic form of parking using a 90 ° angle for two wheels, with the number of vehicles 2435 the average duration is 393.166 and accumulation increases to 617. Based on the results of the calculation of the two-wheeled parking space planning, it can be seen that the capacity of the parking space unit (SRP) for wheeled vehicles increases from the previous 610 SRP to 617 SRP and requires 17 more SRP.
