Perancangan Dan Analisis Struktur Rangka Trailer Sebagai Alat Angkut Mobil Hemat Energi
ABSTRACT
Trailer is an additional train in the form of a connecting train or an outboard train for transporting goods. The development of trailers for the needs of transporting of Selembayung ‘s Team energy-efficient cars which has been done before so it’s mobility to the training ground is quite constrained, therefore a standard flat bed type trailer is designed to facilitate the mobility of the conveyance. The trailer frame design is carried out using Autodesk Inventor software with a length of 2500 mm and a width of 1100 mm according to the urban concept type energy-saving car vehicle. The material used for the design of the trailer frame based on the digital logic method method obtained the selected material, namely carbon stell 1010 Annealed. Based on analytical calculations on the trailer frame designed value obtained maximum von misses stress value of 5, 296 MPa, maximum deformation of 0.001555 mm. In the simulation using Ansys for the entire trailer frame, the maximum von misses stress is 58.429 MPa, and the maximum deformation is 1.0788 mm. The maximum safety factor value on the trailer frame when given a load of 3.9, this is in accordance with the recommendations in choosing the Factor of Safety according to (Vidosic, 1957: 28).
