ABSTRACT
The location of this research was at signalized intersection in Pekanbaru City at Soekarno Hatta Street-HR. Soebrantas Street–Adi Sucipto Street, According to Lancang Kuning Zebra Operation in October 2022 still found many drivers which violated and unobedient to traffic law. The violation is dominate by motor cycle drivers amount to 61 units, the violation happen to motorcycle driver with average age range from 21 to 25 years old. Location of this research has 432L intersection type, 4 road arms, 3 main routes (mayor) and 2 small routes (minor). Descriptive method was used on data processing and data analysis. Observation was made on weekday (Monday and Thursday) and weekend (Saturday dan Sunday), observation time was made on 06.00-08.00 PM, 11.00-13.00 PM and 16.00-18.00 PM. The result was highest amount of Obedience to traffic light at west direction of road arm HR. Soebrantas Street on Monday 06.00-08.00 PM, with 64 % percentage which was categorized as Obedient. Whereas highest amount of unobedient was happen at north direction of Soekarno Hatta road arm on Saturday 06.00-08.00 PM with 57% percentage. It happens because the drivers did not stop at road arm area but exceed the traffic light pole. The result of total obedience drivers with traffic signs on the arm road against of Soekarno Hatta Street no turn left sign at north direction arm on 16.00-18.00 PM with 98% percentage. West direction of HR. Soebrantas Street arm against prohibited of stop sign with 100% percentage, which can be categorized as very obedient. Total obedience at south direction of Soekarno Hatta Road arm against prohibition of U turn sign was 100 % percentage. Meanwhile East direction of Adi Sucipto road arm against left turn sign continues on Sunday 16.00-18.00 PM with 97% percentage. While unobedience against no entry sign for motorized vehicles and non-motorized vehicles on Sunday 06.00-08.00 PM with 41% percentage. continues to be careful with a percentage of 96%, it can be categorized as very obedient.
