Pengaruh Kepemilikan Asing, Kepemilikan Institusional, Leverage, Dan Koneksi Politik Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Bumn Yang Terdaftar Di Bei Periode 2017-2021)

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze foreign ownership, institutional ownership, leverage and political connections on financial performance. The objects of this research are all BUM companies listed on the IDX for the 2017-2021 period. Data were analyzed using the linear regression method and the SPSS program version 17. The variables studied were financial performance as the dependent variable and foreign ownership, institutional ownership, leverage and political connections as independent variables. The results showed that the foreign ownership variable had an effect on financial performance with a significance value of 0.025. Furthermore, the institutional ownership variable influences financial performance with a significance value of 0.000. Furthermore, the leverage variable affects financial performance with a significance value of 0.038. And finally the political connection variable influences financial performance with a significance value of 0.000. The R Square value is 0.799, which means that the variables of foreign ownership, institutional ownership, leverage and political connections can explain the financial performance variable of 79.9%. While the remaining 20.1% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
