Pengaruh Strategi Pemetaan Pikiran Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Pantun Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 2 Gunung Toar
This study aims to see whether there is an effect of the Mind Mapping Strategy on the ability to write rhymes for class VII students. This type of research is research using experimental methods with a quantitative approach. The design of this research is True Experimental Design (actual experiment), with a pretest-posttest control group design meaning that the test consists of two groups, namely the initial test (pretest) and the final test (posttest). Sampling in this study using total sampling technique (total sample), namely the technique of determining the sample when all members of the population are used as samples. The results showed that there was an effect of the Mind Mapping strategy on the ability to write poetry texts for class VII students of SMPN 2 Gunung Toar. During the pre-test, the scores of the experimental class students were below the KKM, which was 65, with an average of 63.60 > 62.12. However, after the authors carried out the treatment, namely using conventional strategies in the control class, and using the Mind Mapping strategy in the experimental class, the average was obtained, namely, 71.56 > 70.24, meaning that during the post-test the experimental class obtained scores above the KKM and higher from the control class. Then, parametric statistical analysis of paired sample t tests was performed (paired t test). Where the test results show an Asym sig number of 0.00
