Background: Secondary Dysmenorrhea was menstrual pain that lasts a long time and appears about 12 months after menarche with increasingly intense pain and was accompanied by pelvic pathology. The most common cause of secondary dysmenorrhea was endometriosis, which represents 33.5% of all secondary dysmenorrhea. Previous studies had concluded that AGD was used as an alternative non-invasive diagnostic tool for endometriosis.
Objectives: This study aims to analyze the relationship between secondary dysmenorrhea and AGD in undergraduate students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau.
Methods: This research was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau with a cross-sectional study method in which the sample was undergraduate students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau (2019-2022), consisting of 410 female students.
