Pengaruh Mindset Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kimia Peserta Didik Kelas X IPA MAN 1 Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effect of mindset on learning outcomes in learning chemistry. The type of research used is ex post facto with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA MAN 1 Pekanbaru. Sampling was carried out by simple random sampling technique using the slovin formula, found as many as 112 students. The data collection method uses a questionnaire instrument with 5 indicators and a test instrument in the form of end-of-semester test results. Based on the results of the analysis using SPSS version 25, a simple linear regression equation was obtained, namely Y = 53.974 + 0.294X, meaning that if mindset (X) has increased by 1, then the results of learning chemistry (Y) have increased by 0.294. The value of the coefficient of determination was found to be 0.098, meaning that the mindset influences chemistry learning outcomes by 9.8% and the rest is influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained α = 0.001 ˃ 0.05 so that it can be concluded, there is a positive and significant influence between Mindset and Chemistry Learning Outcomes of Class X IPA MAN 1 Pekanbaru Students.
