Penerapan Media Interaktif Berbasis Wordwall Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPS 1 Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Di SMA Negeri 1 Kelayang
History lessons are subjects that are often considered boring subjects, where
history teachers are still found who still use the lecture method without being equipped
with learning media that can support learning. So that this becomes one of the factors that
is less attractive and reduces the enthusiasm of students' learning interest in history
subjects. This study aims to determine teacher activity, student activity and student
learning interest after applying wordwall-based interactive media to history lessons in
class XI IPS1 SMA Negeri 1 Kelayang. The research method used is Classroom Action
Research which consists of 2 cycles. The results showed that the observation of student
activity in Cycle I was 56.19% and it increased in Cycle II, namely 89.99%. This proves
that there is an increase in student activity of 33.8%. Teacher activity in cycle I was 67%
and increased in cycle II, namely 90% with an increase of 23%. Whereas for students'
learning interest in cycle I was 83.91%, it increased in cycle II, namely 95.97% and
achieved the criteria of success. Based on the results of research by applying wordwallbased
interactive media can increase the learning interest of class XI IPS1 students in
history subjects.
