Pengembangan Media Interaktif Powerpoint Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Di MAN 3 Pekanbaru
In MAN 3 Pekanbaru, this paper discusses the use of interactive Powerpoint slides to increase student interest in economics education. The problem in this study is that teachers provide materials, assignments and economic learning materials to all students only through ordinary media such as practice questions in package books, thus making students lack of interest in learning. Students have a low interest in learning at the time of studying Economicssubjects. When learning students are not interested and happy with what they are learning and do not try to understand the subject matter which causes a lack of interest in learning students. In an effort to overcome the low interest in student learning, teachers must utilize technology in learning such as using Powerpoint interactive media so that students are interested and interested in learning. In order to make it simpler for students to have study aids both individually and in groups and to keep them interested in learning, this development research intends to turn Powerpoint into an interactive learning medium, learning media contains learning materials that are equipped with various menus such as guides using media, introductory menus contain learning openers, competency menus contain coverage of what material in the media, The material menu contains material on taxation in economic development which is equipped with additional material links and news from social media, the evaluation menu contains practice questions in the form of interactive quizzes integrated with the iSpring Suite media, and finally the media developer profile menu. This study employs a development research methodology (R and D). which entails "define," "design," "develop," and "thirdly, disseminate." Two media experts, two material experts, and users in the form of one teacher and 34 pupils were used to collect the data. 2 MAN 3 Pekanbaru, XI. Qualitative data were obtained from initial observations and interviews as well as assessments from validators who stated that the media was feasible to be tested, quantifiable information about student replies and interest in learning shiva was gathered from questionnaires. Before learning to use Powerpoint interactive media, there were only 2 students in the high interest category. After the results of the small trial were completed, this number rose to 27, while there were only 7 students in the moderate interest category and no students in the low interest category. 32 students were enrolled in classes with moderate interest previously, but none of them had poor interest. The difference test utilizing the paired sample t test that was used yielded a significant result of 0.000 0.05, indicating that there is a substantial difference between the learning interest of the students before and after using the interactive Powerpoint media. The student answer percentage of 82.35%, which indicates that students agree that the level of practicality of media is high, supports the claim that the media is very useful and practical.
