Studi Potensi Air Tanah Dengan Alat Aidu Golden Rod (Agr) Di Lingkungan Kampus Bina Widya Universitas Riau
ABSTRACT Groundwater is dynamic and is influenced by a number of natural factors. Geology and geomorphology greatly determine the potential of groundwater in an area. Geological structure influences the direction of groundwater movement, the type and thickness of aquifers. The stratigraphy of several rock layers can affect the type, depth, and thickness of the aquifer. The morphology of the relief of the earth's surface influences the occurrence and direction of groundwater movement. Changes in surface topography affect the depth of the groundwater table and the direction of groundwater movement. Morphogenesis affects permeability, porosity, and infiltration rate. Regional studies of the above aspects provide an overview of the aquifer potential in an area. AGR is a special instrument for geophysical studies that provides detailed vertical resistivity of rocks and aquifers by measuring natural electric fields. This instrument measures the natural electric field passively with the frequency domain (high to low frequency in one measurement), high frequency will produce resistivity data at shallow depths and low frequency will produce resistivity data at quite deep-very deep depths. The benefit is to find out the source of water that is in the ground, the purpose is to provide information on where the right point is to drill groundwater and how deep the water source is in the ground at the location under review, the first location in the mini stadium is the drill point is at depth of 65 – 93 m at a distance of 6 – 8 m from point 0, the second location is in the law building the drill point is at a depth of 63 – 100 m at a distance of 2.5 – 5 m from point 0, the third location is on the Panjat Tebing of the drill point found at a depth of 195 – 240 m at a distance of 0 - 3 m from point 0. Furthermore, the conclusion obtained from the frequency comparison analysis is that the higher the frequency, the smaller the depth penetration and conversely, the lower the frequency, the greater the depth penetration. This research is also expected to be a reference for further research on related topics.
