Pembuatan Mesin Mixing Biji Plastik Kapasitas Maksimal 50 Kg
ABSTRAK Mixing machines for plastic pellets and dyes available on the market are relatively expensive, the results of mixing the raw materials are uneven and cleaning the tool before use for other colors is less practical. The design stages include identifying the problem, making the working concept of the tool, then selecting the type of propeller, shaft, rolling bearing, frame, power transmission and motor selection. The next stage is the design of the manufacturing and assembly process. Operational trials were carried out to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the tool. The experimental results found that there were several weaknesses, namely the mixing process was not perfect because the sides of the tub were not evenly mixed, it was necessary to re-analyze the propeller. From the manufacture of a plastic pellet mixing machine with a maximum capacity of 50 kg, the expected goal has been achieved, namely to produce a plastic pellet color mixing machine with a maximum capacity of 50 kg. The tests were carried out using PE (polyethylene) plastic pellets, with coloring using a pigment masterbatch. This machine is equipped with components, namely gasoline motors, pulleys, ucp 204 bearings, gears, reducers, connecting chains, main shafts, reservoirs, body brackets, frames and gearboxes.
