Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Melalui Penerapan Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Pada Peserta Didik Kelas VIII-3 SMPN 45 Pekanbaru Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 Materi Statistika
This research model was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles on 38 students of class VIII-3 at SMPN 45 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to improve the learning process and enhance mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the observation and data collected, 43.58% or 17 out of 38 students achieved KKM. The students felt bored with mathematics learning because the teacher's teaching method was almost always the same at each meeting, which was learning individually from the teacher's explanation in front of the class. One of the models/approaches that can be applied to these findings is the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. Based on the research activities and results, the students became more active in learning, and the KKM increased from 42.1% to 57.9% in cycle I and 81.1% in cycle II.
