Analisis Produktivitas Mesin Ripple Mill Di Ptpn V Sei Galuh Menggunakan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (Oee) Dan Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (Fmea)
ABSTRACT
PTPN V Sei Galuh is a state-owned company engaged in the plantation and processing of oil palm which produces crude oil and kernels from palm oil, PTPN V Sei Galuh was established on March 11, 1996. Ripple mill is a tool used in palm oil mills for core processing which functions to break the nut so that the core is detached from the shell. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the factors that make a major contribution to the ripple mill machine to the OEE value and analyze component damage to the ripple mill machine using the FMEA method. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is an innovative approach to machine or facility maintenance by optimizing equipment effectiveness, reducing or eliminating sudden breakdowns and carrying out independent maintenance by the operator. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a measurement method that functions to determine the effectiveness of the use and utilization of machines, equipment, time and materials in a production system. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a pre-event action to eliminate and minimize the possibility of future failures. During November 2022, the ripple mill 1 machine obtained an average OEE value of 85.19%, while the ripple mill 2 machine obtained an average OEE value of
85.18%. In calculating the FMEA value, it is found that the components that have the main priority in carrying out maintenance are the rotor bar and ripple plate with an RPN value of 90.
