Analisis Kualitas Butir Soal Bahasa Indonesia SMP Amal Mulia Boarding School Pekanbaru Pada Tes Sumatif Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023
This research is a research motivated by the low scores obtained by students
on the Midterm Assessment summative test at SMP Amal Mulia Boarding School
Pekanbaru. This study aims to find out how the quality of question items in terms of
material, construction, and language aspects is in accordance with the rules of good
question writing, In addition, it is also to find out how the quality of the question
items in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, differentiation, and
effectiveness of deceivers. Furthermore, this study also aims to determine how the
relationship between the results of student achievement in the summative test which
in this case is the Midterm Assessment test with the quality of qualitative questions
given by the teacher. This study used a combination approach (mix methods). The
data in this study are summative test questions for Indonesian language subjects SMP
Amal Mulia Boarding School Pekanbaru for the 2022/2023 school year, grids, and
answer keys. The results showed that the quality of the question items in terms of
material, construction, and language was categorized as "very good" and the
correlation number showing the number 0.142 means that between the quality of the
Midterm Assessment question items qualitatively, there is no relationship with the
learning outcomes of students. Furthermore, the difficulty level analysis, there are
24% difficult questions, 52% medium category questions, and 24% easy category
questions. In the differentiation power analysis, there were 4% of the questions in the
very bad category, 64% in the bad category, 28% in the sufficient category, and 4%
in the good category. Then in the analysis of the effectiveness of deceivers, there are
48% of questions categorized as very good, 28% questions categorized as good, 16%
questions categorized as bad, and 8% questions categorized as very bad.
