Disagregasi Curah Hujan Kota Pekanbaru Dengan Pemodelan Stokastik Neymanscott Rectangular Pulse
ABSTRACT
In the hydrology, information about rainfall on a low time scale (per-hour) is very
important. Therefore, rainfall measurements are carried out both on a high time
scale (daily) and a low time scale (hourly). In this research, rainfall modeling on a
low time scale in Pekanbaru City was carried out using the Neyman-Scott
Rectangular Pulse (NSRP) stochastic approach. In the NSRP approach, six
parameters are generated each month to generate rainfall data on a low time scale
(hourly), to obtain data generation results more consistent with observational data,
a disaggregation method with proportional adjusting procedure is used. The results
of the developed NSRP model show good performance with a Mean Absolute Error
(MAE) value of 0,074 which is close to zero. By using the disaggregation adjusting
method, inconsistencies in the data generation results were overcome, resulting in
daily rainfall data that is identical to the observed data. Therefore, the
disaggregation method with proportional adjusting procedure is an effective
approach in generating hourly rainfall data that is consistent with the original data,
and the developed NSRP model can be used as a good tool in rainfall modeling at
low time scales for the Pekanbaru City area.
