The research entitled Hierarchy of Needs in the Film Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales by Ernest Prakasa is a research that aims to find out how the hierarchy of

needs forms which include physiological needs, the need for safety, the need for a
sense of belonging and love, the need for self-esteem, and also the need for selfrealization
of the characters in the film Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales. In this
research has the benefit of being able to increase understanding and knowledge
about film, literary psychology, and also the form of a hierarchy of needs that a
person has. This type of research is qualitative research using qualitative descriptive
methods. The results of the study explained that each character in the film Imperfect:
Career, Love & Scales has their own hierarchy of needs with different forms of needs.
From all the data found, the form of need for safety is the form of fulfillment of needs
that are most commonly found compared to other needs, while the character Rara is
the figure with the most forms of needs compared to other characters. The conclusion
in this study is that there are forms of hierarchy of needs in the film Imperfect:
Career, Love & Scales by Ernest Prakasa which are found in events in the form of
language records, facial gestures and actions of characters, words, phrases, and
sentences carried out by characters in the film Imperfect: Career, Love & Scales.
