This research is a thesis entitled Onomatopoeia in Comics by M. A. Avisiena Helvin. The problem in this research is what types and functions of onomatopoeia are found in comics by M. A. Avisiena Helvin, namely the comic Too Handsome, Diary of a Handsome Person and the comic Too Handsome, Still Diary of a Handsome Person. This research aims to describe the types and functions of onomatopoeia in the comic Too Handsome, Diary of a Handsome Person and the comic Too Handsome, Still Diary of a Handsome Person by M. A. Avisiena Helvin. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive qualitative research method, namely a method that discusses several possibilities for solving an actual problem by using the stages of collecting data, compiling and classifying all the data that has been analyzed. Because the research data that the author gets are data in the form of narrative and character dialogue. The research data sources are the comic Too Handsome, Diary of a Handsome Person and the comic Too Handsome, Still Diary of a Handsome Person by M. A. Avisiena Helvin, published by PT. Bukune Creative Cipta.
