Analisis Tekno Ekonomi Briket Arang Dari Pemanfaatan Ampas Sagu Sebagai Bahan Bakar Alternatif
ABSTRAK
Sago pulp is waste from the sago processing industry which is processed into
sago flour and has the potential to be used as an alternative energy fuel. In this
study, sago waste can be used as charcoal briquettes. Charcoal briquettes are
made through several stages, namely composing, mixing with adhesive, pressing,
and drying. Characteristics of the quality of briquettes include moisture content
8.22, ash content 22.01, parts lost at 950 °C 30.51 and heating value 4.599. The
quality test of sago pulp briquettes refers to SNI 01-6235-2000 however, the
results obtained have not been in accordance with the standards of research.
Sago pulp briquettes will be produced on a large scale. For this reason, it is
necessary to carry out tests on sago dregs briquettes and determine technological
and economic feasibility. The results of the research that obtained sago dregs
briquettes from a technological point of view are feasible to produce however, it
is produced on a small scale because from an economic point of view sago dregs
briquettes cannot be said to be feasible for large-scale production due to limited
capital, access to market information and limited quality which has not been meet
the requirements. To find out if sago pulp briquettes are economically feasible,
financial analysis calculations are needed. The cost value obtained is the cost of
production (HPP) Rp. 2,012/kg, break even point (BEP) Rp. 46,778, pay back
period (PBP 5 days.
