Pencak silat is a traditional martial art originating from Indonesia or it can also be said that pencak silat is one of the Indonesian culture in the field of sports which has experienced extraordinary development and has even been accepted as a sport that is competed at multi-event level. . To become a silat fighter, you must have and master various basic pencak silat techniques, including stances, stances, step patterns, defenses, dodges, catches and attacks. One type of attack is a leg attack, types of leg attacks are straight kicks, T kicks, back kicks and crescent kicks. The sickle kick is a kick in a semi-circular trajectory inward, targeting all parts of the body, with the back of the foot or toes.
In order to be able to perform good kicking techniques, adequate physical and mental readiness is required. The elements of physical condition include components including: Endurance, Stamina, Power, Reaction Speed, Coordination, and Strength. One of them is the explosive power of the leg muscles. The explosive power of the leg muscles is an important aspect of physical condition in kicking, especially sickle kicks and straight kicks. Based on observations by researchers in the field observing that in training sessions and in matches, the PAT BAN BU (Four Appeals of Budi) Pencak Silat athletes still have many shortcomings. One of them is like the leg muscles when kicking. So when you kick, it's not optimal. If a kick is not executed well, it can be pushed over by the opponent. Based on the problems above, to increase the explosive power of the leg muscles, intensive and programmed training needs to be carried out.

The population in this study were PAT BAN BU (Four Appeals of Budi) Pencak Silat athletes who took part in training in active pencak silat branches, namely 10 men. In this research, the sampling technique was carried out using total sampling, where the samples were 10 athletes. The instrument in this research is the vertical jump. Each group was taken from two measurements, namely the pre-test before treatment and the post-test after treatment was given. This aims to obtain research data that will be processed to test hypotheses.
Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is an influence of double leg speed hop training on the explosive power of leg muscles in PAT BAN BU (Four Appeals of Budi) Pencak Silat athletes as proven by the results of tcount 3.177 > ttable 1.833 at α=0.05. This proves that by doing the Double leg speed hop exercise, the explosive power of the leg muscles can get better results
