Kinerja Sistem Rangka Dengan Analisis Dinamik Time History Menggunakan Modifikasi Gerak Tanah Dasar Pada Gedung Di Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Time history analysis is a process of analyzing the structural response to dynamic loads that vary over time. The dynamic load applied in this analysis is in the form of earthquake time histories. In Indonesia, this analysis method faces limitations due to the availability of earthquake data. However, this constraint can be overcome by using earthquake data from other regions, although it requires modifications to the ground motion before using the earthquake data. Since 2020, SNI 8899 has been issued as a guideline for the Selection and Modification Procedure of Surface Ground Motion for Earthquake Resistant Building Design in Indonesia. In relation to this, the aim of this research is to simulate time history earthquake loads according to SNI 1726-2019, modified based on SNI 8899-2020, compare different methods of ground motion modification, and evaluate the performance of structures undergoing time history analysis. To achieve this goal, an initial study is conducted by modifying the ground motion using amplitude scaling and spectral matching methods. This modification is carried out to adapt earthquake data from other regions to the conditions in Pekanbaru. Furthermore, a study is conducted on a special moment-resisting reinforced concrete frame system. The frame system is a three-dimensional structure with 10 levels and a height of 5 meters between each level. The frame system consists of four spans in the X and Y directions, with respective lengths of 4 meters and 5 meters. In this study, the structure is subjected to dynamic loads from original earthquake data and previously modified earthquake data. The results of the study indicate that through the modification of ground motion using amplitude scaling and spectral matching methods, the obtained PGA (Peak Ground Acceleration) values approach the PGA values in the Pekanbaru area, specifically 0.219. The spectral matching method yields a PGA value closer to the Pekanbaru PGA with a difference of 0.004, specifically for the Loma earthquake with a value of 0.215. Despite the ground motion modifications, the Arias intensity profile of the earthquake data, modified with the spectral matching method, remains unchanged.
