Education is a conscious effort carried out by humans that is systematically structured and planned which is included in the education unit, the education unit in the National Education System Law no. 20 of 2013 chapter 1 article 1 point 10 explains that an education unit is a group of educational services that provides education on a path formal, non-formal and informal at every level and type of education. Meanwhile, PJOK itself is the main area of learning in the curriculum which focuses on developing the skills and movement concepts needed for students to participate in physical activities with competence and confidence (Lynch, 2019, p. 72). In corner learning, basic movement is one of the main focuses that teachers must pay attention to, remembering that one of the goals of physical education is to improve students’ basic movement or motor skills. Basic movements are skills that involve the big brain, muscle strength involving the arms and legs which are used to achieve an exercise or movement goal, such as throwing a ball, jumping or jumping through water, or maintaining balance.
Evaluation is the final stage of the learning process carried out by teachers on students, including cognitive, affective and psychomotor evaluations. In psychomotor evaluations, teachers often stutter and don’t know what to do when the evaluation is carried out. The Most Significant Change Technique or MSC is a method that researchers will use to measure students’ basic movement abilities through the story approach that researchers will use. In its implementation, students will answer five questions, each question will be given a score of one so that the maximum score obtained by each individual is 5 and is classified in the very good category. Researchers want to test the level of success of this evaluation model which researchers apply in measuring students’ basic movement abilities. The research location is SDN 22 Pekanbaru which is located on Jalan Sawai Kampung Melayu, Sukajadi, Pekanbaru City with a total sample of 30 people who are grade 5 elementary school students.

This type of research is descriptive quantitative using two data collection techniques, namely distributing questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this research is using descriptive statistical methods where testing, measuring and hypothesizing a theory is based on mathematical and statistical analytical calculations. Presenting data in tabular form by determining results with several formulas such as Mean, calculating the numerical average of a set of values. Frequency, shows how many times the value is found. Mode, a method for finding the values that appear most frequently in a data set and Range, shows the highest and lowest values and finds the percentage in each value produced by students.
The results of the research show that there are 3% of children in the fair category, 67% in the good category and 33% in the very good category, meaning that the success rate of this MSC evaluation model is quite high as evidenced by the fact that only a few children are in the fair category.
