Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Loyalitas Kerja Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Negeri Gugus III Kecamatan Tuah Madani Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to describe the effect of principal's leadership and teachers
work loyalty toward the teachers performance at Cluster III State Elementary School
Tuah Madani Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. The background of the problems in this
study is that the teachers of Cluster III State Elementary School Tuah Madani
Subdistrict Pekanbaru City do not yet have high performance as seen from some
teachers who do not bring and complete learning tools during the learning process,
the teachers use the same method without any variations so that students feel bored.
in learning, the teachers do not use media or aids as learning materials, the teachers
leave the class during study hours, the teachers arrives late without any information
and the teachers have not optimized learning time in class. The type of this research
is descriptive quantitative research and survey method with ex post facto techniques.
The data collection technique used is questionnaires with 100 respondents from 133
teachers in Cluster III State Elementary School Tuah Madani Subdistrict Pekanbaru
City who were randomly selected as a sample using the Taro Yamane formula. The
research method was carried out, namely the respondents gave responses to the
questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale consisting of five answer options, namely
Always, Often, Sometimes, Rarely, and Never. Data analysis used is descriptive and
inferential statistics.
Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that the positive and significant
effect of the principal's leadership toward the performance of Cluster III State
Elementary School Tuah Madani Subdistrict Pekanbaru City was 28.4% while the
remaining 71.6% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study.
Thus it can be concluded that the effect of the principal's leadership variable on
teachers performance have a low interpretation or effect; Furthermore, the positive
and significant effect of teachers work loyalty toward teachers performance at
Cluster III State Elementary School Tuah Madani Subdistrict Pekanbaru City was
49.8%, while the remaining 50.2% was determined by other factors that were not
part of this study. Thus it can be concluded that the effect of the teacher's work
loyalty variable on teachers performance have an interpretation or effect in the
medium category; and obtained the positive and significant effect of the principal's
leadership and teachers work loyalty toward the teachers performance at Cluster III
State Elementary School Tuah Madani Subdistrict Pekanbaru City was 39.4%, while
the remaining 60.6% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study.
Thus, it can be concluded that the positive and significant effect of principal
leadership and teachers work loyalty toward teachers performance have an
interpretation or influence in the low category.
