Gambaran Klinis Dan Defisit Neurologis Pada Pasien Stroke Hemoragik Yang Dirawat Di Bangsal Saraf RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
Stroke is generally divided into two main types, namely ischemic and hemorrhagic. Hemorrhagic stroke has a worse functional and clinical status than ischemic stroke so the incidence of disability and death is higher in hemorrhagic stroke. Knowing the clinical signs and symptoms of hemorrhagic stroke can help make a diagnosis, although imaging is still the gold standard for making a diagnosis. Rapid diagnosis can help manage, treat, and refer patients immediately to more adequate health services, thereby reducing the risk of disability and death in hemorrhagic stroke patients. This study aims to determine the clinical picture and neurological deficits in hemorrhagic stroke patients treated in the Neurological Ward of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province for the period August 2023 – October 2023. The design of this research is cross-sectional with a descriptive approach using a total sampling method. The characteristics of hemorrhagic stroke patients were found to be the majority of middle adults (35-64 years) (81%) with male gender (52.4%) and a history of hypertension (85.7%). Based on clinical symptoms and neurological deficits, 19 patients (45.2%) had decreased consciousness, 20 patients (47.6%) had a GCS score of 13-15, 21 patients (50%) had multiple cranial nerve disorders, 19 patients (45.2%) right hemiparesis, and 25 patients (59.5%) with positive pathological Babinski reflex.
