Perancangan Cinema Center Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur High Tech Di Pekanbaru

In the last decade, cinema in Indonesia has increasingly advanced and developed, the number of cinema audiences increasing by 20% every year. The strengthening factor is people's purchasing power, thereby increasing the number of national and international film productions which influences people's interest in coming to the cinema. Especially in Pekanbaru, where watching cinema is one of the most popular entertainment destinations to relieve stress. The aim of this design is to obtain a Cinema Center design that is able to improve the quality of the environment itself both in terms of function, form and existence, not only making the cinema building a means for enjoying recreational films but also for appreciating, educating and imagining what has been enjoyed in the film. As well as to accommodate the activities of the creative sector in the form of the film industry in Pekanbaru that has potential and can be developed but does not have the platform, by providing space for the film industry community and housing the activities, it is possible to improve the film sector for young people in Pekanbaru. High Tech architectural approach to Cinema Center shows the appearance of a building that looks High Tech by exposing the structure, selecting materials for the facade, and focusing on solving acoustic and building utility problems in the Cinema Center and to produce a building with advanced technology, improving the quality of the experience in the film industry and activities inside the building can run as well as possible.
