Life of every human being is inseparable from death. Family and loved ones will lay to rest those who have passed away to give them a final tribute. In the Christian belief, the deceased will return to the earth as it was. However, laying the deceased to rest involves many processes and requires space and a place. The number of Christian followers in Pekanbaru is the second highest in Pekanbaru. Moreover, with the hustle and bustle of urban life in Pekanbaru, people who want to lay the deceased to rest need assistance and services to help them in the process. The process of laying the deceased to rest also requires a spacious area to accommodate many people who want to pay their respects. Funeral homes are present to provide services related to the process of laying the deceased to rest. The existence of funeral homes is also driven by the high demand for places to lay the deceased to rest. The application of behavioral architecture in the design of funeral homes aims to understand human behaviors and activities in the use of funeral homes. The concepts in behavioral architecture are used for the design of funeral homes, ensuring that the design is based on the activities of humans in the funeral home as users of the building.
