Analisis Sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) Kapasitas 2 MW Studi Kasus PT. Pertamina (PERSERO) RU II Dumai

The PLTS Pertamina RU II Dumai Solar Power Plant has a capacity of 2 MW, featuring an on-grid system comprising 16 homogeneous arrays. In this research, a PLTS system simulation developed based on existing technical data from the PLTS Pertamina RU II Dumai. The PLTS system, created using Simulink in MATLAB software, consists of a single array system, with 8 sub-arrays. Each subarray is made up of 2 strings, and each string consists of 20 modules in series. For this research, measurement data for irradiation, temperature, voltage, current, and PLTS power were collected on July 31, 2023, August 2, 2023, August 3, 2023, and August 4, 2023. Simulation tests were conducted using irradiation and temperature data obtained from the measurements. On July 31, 2023, the irradiation measured was 946 W/m², with a temperature of 69℃, resulting in a power production of 94 kW and a performance ratio of 78,9%. In contrast, based on the simulation test results, the power produced was 100.2 kW with a performance ratio of 84%. On August 2, 2023, the irradiation measured was 802 W/m², with a temperature of 60℃, resulting in a power production of 82 kW and a performance ratio of 81,1%. However, based on the simulation test results, the power produced was 88,4 kW with a performance ratio of 87,5%. On August 3, 2023, the irradiation measured was 370 W/m², with a temperature of 52℃, resulting in a power production of 39 kW and a performance ratio of 83,6%. Nevertheless, based on the simulation test results, the power produced was 41,25 kW with a performance ratio of 88,5%. Finally, on August 4, 2023, the irradiation measured was 700 W/m², with a temperature of 58℃, resulting in a power production of 75 kW and a performance ratio of 85%. Based on the simulation test results, the power produced was 77,77 kW with a performance ratio of 88,2%
