Hubungan Volume Perdarahan Dengan Tingkat Kesadaran Pada Pasien Stroke Hemoragik di Bangsal Saraf RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
Background: Stroke is a disease that is still a major concern in the medical field because of its high mortality and morbidity rates. The poor prognosis in hemorrhagic stroke patients can be seen from the patient's level of consciousness when they come to the hospital. Another factor is the bleeding volume which can be measured using non-contrast CT scan. These two factors are early predictors in determining the outcome of hemorrhagic stroke patients.
Objective: To analyze the correlation between bleeding volume and level of consciousness in hemorrhagic stroke patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province
Method: This research method is cross sectional which was carried out at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province in the period August to October 2023
Results: The majority of hemorrhagic stroke patients were in the middle adult age group (35-64 years) with 34 cases (81%), male with 22 cases
(52.4%) and Malay with 15 cases (35.7%). Based on bleeding volume, 19 cases (55.9%) with the bleeding volume of 0.05).
