Analisis Pembentukan Dan Perubahan Bentuk Peatbar Dan Peatfan Pada Lokasi Terjadinya Bogburst Di Pantai Gambut Pulau Bengkalis
Peat soil abrasion that occurs on the coast of Bengkalis Island is quite worrying coupled with this bogburst event can accelerate the loss of land on Bengkalis Island, if this is left unchecked it will result in a reduction in land area on Bengkalis Island and can reduce Indonesia's territorial boundaries. From the observations in the field, the bogburst caused temporary peat landslides in the sea (peatfan) and there was also an arrangement of material shaped like lines around the peatfan (peatbar). In an effort to mitigate this bogburst event, fundamental research was carried out on peatbar and peatfan. The research method carried out is an analysis of the reduction of peatfan and peatbar and changes in the shape of peatbar over time using satellite images, and also conducted research on the constituent material of peatbar by means of take peatbar material and test it in the laboratory. The results of the study stated that the area of peatfan decreased varied, within oneyear peatfan decreased in area by 297095.80〖 m〗^2 so that only 72254.65 〖 m〗^2or only 19.56% remained. The results of research on peatbar stated that peatbar has decreased and increased in area, this can be caused by various factors, one of which is the panyusun material on peatbar. From the results of the analysis conducted on peatbar material stated that peatbar is composed of fairly uniform material with a level of sapric maturity (mature), a fairly uniform moisture content ranging from 498.33 - 533.84%, with medium ash content ranging from 10.11 - 13.82%, and specific gravity ranging from 1.57 - 1.91.
