Evaluasi Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Dengan Metode Deduct Value (Ruas Jalan Km 2 Kuok- Kampung Gadang)
The structure failure in the pavement system always causes damages and makes roadway notfunction
optimally. To know the level of existing damage, an investigation to measure the PCI (Pavement
Condition Index) is required to be done, in this study we consider the road link ofKuok - Kampung
Gadang especially at KM 2. The purpose ofthis study is to know the condition ofthat road using PCI
classification.
The research by PCI method is performed visually to the damaged zone based on extent and level ofits
damage which is analyzed and divided into segmental unit with 2.500+1000ft* (139.35 - 325,15 m2),
than PCI ofeach unit defined. The value ofPCI ofa considered road segment is the mean ofthe value of
each PCI unit in thatsegment.
From research to the considered road link, obtained result in theform ofvalue PCI and condition ofit’s
pavement ofKM 2 Kuok -Kampung Gadang asfollows: part ofroadA PCI=84,19 ( Very good), part of
road B PCI=86,60 ( excellent), part ofroad C PCI=87,40 ( excellent), part ofroad D PCI=79,10 ( very
good), part ofroadEPCI—34,90 (poor).
