Pemanfaatan Limbah Mortar Sebagai Material Agregat Halus Pembentuk Mortar

The aim ofthisresearch is to leant the influence ofrecycledaggregate with
the certain percentage against strength that was produced. Recycled aggregate
could be easily obtained in the devastatedarea since there we a large number of
debrisfrom buildings. In thisresearch, recycled aggregate will be used to replace
apart or the whole gravelsand in mortar, The ratio between cement and sand in
this research was 1:3. The specimen was made total 108 samples, the size of
specimen is 5x5x5 cm. The proportion ofrecycledaggregate that is usedare 20%,
405, 60%, 80%, and 100%from weight ofsand. The results ofthe research show
that compressive strength ofrecycledaggregate mortar decrease with increase of
percentage ofrecycled aggregate in mortar. While the porosity and absorption
value increase with increase of recycled aggregate in mortar because of it
porosity.
