Pola Komunikasi Pemasaran Ikan Oleh Nelayan Suku Akit di Desa Titi Akar Kecamatan Rupat Utara Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau
Some of the Akit people in Titi Akar Village work as fishermen by utilizing marine products. Their economic system can no longer be categorized as still being at the subsistence level, instead it is included in the trading system, because the marine products they obtain are not consumed by themselves, but are distributed and processed with economic returns to other parties. However, from a marketing perspective, attracting customers and capturing market share is not easy because of increasingly strong market competition between fishing businesses. To achieve sales targets, fishermen need better marketing channels and communication patterns so that marketing activities are effective and efficient. This research is qualitative research using in-depth interview methods. Informants in this research were taken using the snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this research include in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. In this research the researcher used a qualitative descriptive analysis method.
