Analisis Penggunaan Media Sosial Tiktok Di Kalangan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Riau
The use of TikTok among students is inseparable from various factors that encourage students to use TikTok. every student who uses TikTok will require a fairly varied frequency and duration of time and the behavior of using TikTok which will form a pattern in using TikTok. Certain motives that encourage students to use Tik-tok will form their own patterns in using TikTok. In this study, researchers will discuss how the motives and patterns of using TikTok social media among Riau University Elementary School Teacher Education Students. The method used in this research is descriptive research method. The technique used in this research is to use a Questionnaire Questionnaire in Google Form Format. The method for analyzing data in this study is descriptive statistical method. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that: Students use TikTok driven by motives to seek pleasure and entertainment. Of the several motives for students using TikTok, out of 78 respondents, only 3 people have the motive to use TikTok to learn the contents of TikTok media. The pattern of using TikTok among students can be seen from the frequency and duration of using more than 5 (five) times a day and more than 5 hours a day. The pattern obtained is also seen from the time and choice of Tiktok content, namely 46% of students choose funny content shows as their favorite content.
