Profil Pasien Fraktur Galeazzi Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode 2020-2022
Galeazzi fracture is a fracture that occurs in distal third of radius accompanied by dislocation of the distal radio-ulnar joint (DRUJ). Galeazzi fractures are known for their instability due to the presence of a fracture of the radius along with subluxation or dislocation of the DRUJ. This research was conducted by looking at the medical records of Galeazzi fracture patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital for the period 2020-2022. The aim of this study was to determine the profile of Galeazzi fracture patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province for the period January 2020-December 2022. This type of research is descriptive retrospective using cross sectional techniques. The number of samples was 13 medical records of patients diagnosed with galeazzi fracture. The variables observed were age, gender, complications, management, type of fracture, and mechanism of injury. The results of the study showed that the age of 46.1% of patients was 20-44 years old, the gender of 61.5% of patients was male, 61.5% of patients had no complications, the management of 92.3% of patients was ORIF Radius and Transfixing K-Wire, 84.6.7% of patients' fracture type was dorsal apex, and 84.6% of patients' injury mechanism was due to traffic accidents. It can be concluded that cases of galeazzi fractures at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province, for the period January 2020–December 2022, mostly occurred in men of productive age with dorsal apex dislocation, treated with ORIF Radius and Transfixing K-Wire, which were mostly caused by traffic accidents.
