Identifikasi Keanekaragaman Jenis Burung Kingfisher (Alcedinidae) Di Zona Pemanfaatan Granit Camp Taman Nasional Bukit Tiga Puluh
The Alcedinidae kingfisher is one type of bird as an indicator of environmental health. Identifying the diversity of Alcedinidae kingfisher birds, we will also be able to maintain and protect the Alcedinidae bird population in the Camp Granit utilization zone of Bukit Tigapuluh National Park. The research used two methods, namely the point count (point count) method and the second method, the plotless method which was centered at the point-centered quarter method. Data analysis regarding the diversity of Alcedinidae kingfisher species was carried out using the Shannon-Wiener species diversity index formula, while the analysis was used for vegetation analysis by looking for an index of the importance of the vegetation in the observation transect area. The results of the research that was carried out were that there were 4 types of birds in which the Blue-eared Kingfisher (Alcedo meninting) was found in 46 encounters or 78%, the Malay blue kingfisher (Alcedo peninsulae) 5 encounters or 8%, the Rufous-backed Dwarf-kingfisher (Ceyx rufidorsa) 4 meetings or 7%, and White-breasted Kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis) 4 meetings or 7%. The species diversity index is relatively low, namely 0.77 and moderate evenness, namely 0.55 for seedling vegetation dominated by Keranji (Dialium indum) namely (9,33%) the level of saplings of Bintangur (Calophyllum pulcherimun Wall) (13,6%) the level of poles and trees dominated ketapang (Terminalia catappa) is (65,53%) and (52,6%) respectively.
