Kidney volume is important for evaluating whether a kidney can be said to be normal or abnormal, determining kidney size in the clinical field is also very important. Body mass index is a simple method for knowing and assessing an individual's nutrition, whether they are undernourished or overnourished. Kidney ultrasound is a safe and painless examination. Ultrasound examination is also a precise and accurate examination to assess and measure kidney volume. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between body mass index and kidney volume from ultrasound examination. This research uses quantitative analytical methods using a cross-sectional approach and total sampling techniques. From the research results, it was found that there was a correlation between body mass index and kidney volume from ultrasound examination. The conclusion of this study is that the higher the body mass index value, the greater the kidney volume size.
