Dampak Kenaikan Harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) Terhadap Pendapatan Nelayan di Desa Bagan Hulu Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau

The research was conducted on July 31-August 12, 2023, located in Bagan Hulu Village, Bangko Sub District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to analyze the effect of operational costs on fishermen's business income before and after the increase in fuel oil, and to analyze the statistical differences in fishermen's income in Bagan Hulu Village, Bangko Sub District, Rokan Hilir Regency before and after the increase in fuel oil prices in September 2022. The research method used is the survey research method. In collecting data, researchers used primary and secondary data collected and processed quantitatively using multiple linear regression tests and different tests (Independent sample t - test). The results of the study on operational costs before the increase in fuel oil prices there is only one variable (cigarettes) that significantly affects the income of fishermen. While operational costs after the increase in fuel oil prices there are two variables (oil and fuel oil) that significantly affect fishermen's income. The average value of income before the fuel price increase was Rp1,098.7027, while the income after the fuel price increase was Rp1,719.5405. The range of the difference in fishermen's income before and after the increase in fuel oil prices (BBM) is Rp620.83784.
