Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Discovery Learning Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP/MTS Materi Segiempat Dan Segitiga
This research is prompted by the inadequacy of mathematics learning tools aligned with the 2013 curriculum. The objective of this study is to create educational resources comprising a syllabus, lesson plans (RPP), and student activity sheets utilizing the discovery learning model for the seventh-grade curriculum covering quadrilaterals and triangles in SMP/MTs. The developmental framework employed in this research is the ADDIE model, encompassing four developmental stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection was executed through practical instruments, and the developed learning tools were subjected to validation by three expert validators. The findings of the study indicate that the syllabus validation achieved a score of 3.93, categorizing it as highly valid, while the RPP and student worksheets received scores of 3.89 and 3.87, respectively, both falling into the highly valid category. The validation analysis outcomes affirm the validity of the syllabus, lesson plans, and student activity sheets. Additionally, the practicality trial results in a small group for student worksheets demonstrated an 83.76% practicality rating, categorizing it as highly practical. In conclusion, the mathematics learning tools created using the discovery learning model for the Quadrilaterals and Triangles material for seventh-grade SMP/MTs, which include the syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets, are both valid and practical for implementation.
