TINGKAT PERSEPSI DAN PENERIMAAN VAKSINASI COVID-19 PADA IBU HAMIL DI KOTA PEKANBARU
Covid-19 is an infection caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus- 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Pregnant women are at risk from severe Covid-19 so this population is recommended to get Covid-19 vaccination. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge, perception, acceptance, and status of Covid- 19 vaccination among pregnant women in Pekanbaru City and their influencing factors. This was a cross-sectional analytical study including 140 respondents of pregnant women in five puskesmas areas in Pekanbaru City. The results showed that as many as 51.4% had received the Covid-19 vaccination. As many as 51.4% of pregnant women had good knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination, 54.3% of them had a positive perception of and 57.9% of them had a positive reception of Covid-19 vaccination. The knowledge about Covid-19 vaccination among pregnant women was influenced by education levels and history of Covid-19. Further, there were significant relationships between knowledge, perception, acceptance and Covid-19 vaccination status. In conclusion, perception and acceptance rates of pregnant women about Covid-19 vaccination were affected by their education and knowledge levels and this eventually influenced their vaccination status.
