Karakteristik Laboratorium Dan Gambaran Klinis Pasien Apendisitis Anak Simple Dan Komplikata Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Periode Januari 2020 – Desember 2022
Appendicitis, commonly known as appendicitis, is the most frequently reported case in the field of pediatric digestive surgery that requires emergency action to minimize complications. The purpose of this study is to determine the laboratory characteristics and clinical pictures of simple and complicated appendicitis patients in RSUD Arifin Achmad from January 2020 to December 2022. A descriptive research method is used to objectively depict or describe a condition, along with a cross-sectional approach. This study samples all medical records of diagnosed patients using a total sampling method. The results show that out of 48 appendicitis patients, there are 24 simple appendicitis patients and 24 complicated appendicitis patients. In simple appendicitis, the majority are aged 12-18 years (83.3%), female (62.5%), with a leukocyte count >10,000 cells/mm3 (62.5%), Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio >5% (54.2%), experiencing nausea and vomiting (58.3%), pain in the lower right abdomen (100%), and a body temperature ≤37.5°C (62.5%). In complicated appendicitis, the majority are aged 6-11 years (41.7%) and 12-18 years (41.7%), with an equal gender distribution of females (50%) and males (50%), a leukocyte count >10,000 cells/mm3 (79.2%), Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio
>5% (70.8%), experiencing nausea and vomiting (75.0%), pain in the lower right abdomen (100%), and a body temperature >37.5°C (70.8%).
