Daya Dukung Perikanan Alami Di Danau Daek Berdasarkan Klorofil-A Di Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
The carrying capacity of waters can be interpreted as the ability of waters to support the life of the biota contained or living in them. Determining the carrying capacity of Daek Lake's natural fisheries is more appropriate using the chlorophyll-a approach, because the carrying capacity of natural fisheries is almost entirely dependent on natural feed (phytoplankton). This research aims to determine the carrying capacity of Daek Lake's natural fisheries based on chlorophyll-a. This research was carried out in July – August 2023 at Daek Lake. There are 3 stations, namely station 1 (inlet), station 2 (lake turn), and station 3 (outlet). At each station there are 2 sampling points, namely at the surface (20 cm) and 2 the Secchi depth (190 cm). Sampling was carried out 4 times at one week intervals. The water quality parameters measured are temperature, brightness, depth, dissolved oxygen (DO), free carbon dioxide (CO2), pH, phosphate and chlorophyl-a. The research results showed that the concentration of chlorophyll-a during the study was 10.73-13.60 µg/L. Daek Lake was classified as moderate fertility (mesotrophic). The primary productivity value during the research ranged from 314.96 -337.81 g C/m2 and the carrying capacity of Daek Lake's natural fisheries based on chlorophyll-a was 1.98 tons/year. The results of measuring station water quality parameters during the research were temperature ranging from 29-31 oC, brightness ranging from 80-90 cm, depth ranging from 300-500 cm, acidity ranging from 6.9-7.3, dissolved oxygen ranging from 5.84-8, 91 mg/L, free carbodioxide ranges from 11.88-13.86 mg/L, phosphate ranges from 0.038-0.060 mg/L. Based on primary productivity values, the carrying capacity of Lake Daek for 4 weeks is 1.98 tons/year.
