Analisis Karakteristik Arus Lalu Lintas Dengan Model Greenshield, Greenberg Dan Underwood Di Ruas Jalan Kota Pekanbaru (Studi Kasus Jalan Hr. Soebrantas Km 9,5 Kota Pekanbaru)
Traffic congestion is a common issue in urban road traffic, and the resulting traffic jams adversely affect road users. Congestion occurs when traffic approaches the road capacity. HR Soebrantas Road is a collector road connecting the city of Pekanbaru and Kampar Regency. This road has four lanes, two in each direction (4/2)D, and holds the status of a provincial road. Each segment of the road is equipped with a median opening with 12 U-turns from the Panam intersection to the Pasar Pagi flyover. This study focuses on the U-turn at KM 9.5 on HR Soebrantas Road in Pekanbaru city, specifically in front of BCA Bank Panam, Riau Province. The methodology employed to analyze the collected data involves the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) method from 1997 and Regression Analysis using the Greenshield, Greenberg, and Underwood models. These models are used to analyze the relationship between flow, speed, and density on HR Soebrantas Road. Based on the data analysis results, the relationship between Volume (V), Speed (U), and Density (D) on HR Soebrantas Road, Pekanbaru, is best represented by the Underwood model, with the highest coefficient of determination (R2) being 0.973 on Sunday, June 24, 2023. The model equation is Relationship (U - D): U = 43.403 x e^(-D/162.275). Relationship (V - D): V = D x 43.403 x e^(-D/162.275). Relationship (V - U): V = U x 162.275 x Ln(43.403/U). Maximum Volume (Vm) = 2,591.078 pcu/hour, Maximum Density (Dm) = 162.275 pcu/km, Maximum Speed (Um) = 15.967 km/hour, Free Flow Speed (Uf) = 43.403 km/hour. Using the MKJI, the calculated capacity (C) is 3,312.910 pcu/hour, with a Level of Service (LOS) F (DS = 1.685), indicating characteristics of congested traffic.
