Evaluasi Dan Proyeksi Kebutuhan Terminal Building Bandar Udara (Studi Kasus: Bandar Udara Internasional Kualanamu, Sumatera Utara)
Kualanamu International Airport is located in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The development of air transport movements at this airport indicates that the passenger terminal facilities which have an existing area of 118,930 m2 with a capacity of 8.9 million passengers per year are no longer able to accommodate the existing passenger volume. This can be seen from the increase in the total number of passengers each year which exceeds capacity to reach 10 million passengers in 2018. This research aims to evaluate and analyze projected passenger terminal demand plans for 2023-2043. The development plan was carried out using the government statement method and double linear regression method, passenger volume was used as the dependent variable, while population (Pdd), PDRB percapita and regional income of North Sumatra Province were used as independent variables with the help of the Microsoft Excel program. So the resulting PDRB percapita has a greater influence on domestic passenger growth. Based on KP Number 482 of 2018 concerning the Kualanamu Airport Master Plan, it is necessary to develop this airport in the future. Based on the results of the development plan, the area of this passenger terminal in the planning year 2043 is 141.805 m2 with a capacity of 21.912.695 passengers per year and can accommodate 4.403 passengers during peak hours.
